Our Mission

It is the mission of the scouting district of Portmore and the Porthenderson Scouting community , to instill the values and leadership skills of " Lord robert Steven Smyth Baden Powell", into the Boys & Girls, by building the foundation of good citizenship.  We do this by training them in various skills, such as community development skills, land navigation, compass works, outdoors activities- such as camping and much more.
The basic foundation of the scouting movement is scouting should be fun, we try to ensure this basic prinicple is followed by camping out and exploring the world.
Always remember to "BEPREPARED"
