Scout Promise
"On my honour I promise that I will do my best.
To love and serve God, my Country ,and the Queen,
To help other people, and to obey the Scout Laws".
At your investiture as a Scout you will make the Scout Promise
in front of the rest of the Troop. This promise is a very diffult one to keep, but it is a most
seroius one, and no boy or girl is a Scout unless they does their best to live up to their Promise.
So you see, Scouting is not only fun, but it requires a lot from you, and I know I can trust
you to do everything you possible can to keep your Scout Promise.
